With a wide and varied membership covering all sectors of the water industry, British Water works with consultants, legal and financial partners, manufacturers of equipment and multi-disciplinary contractors, as well as SMEs and independent consultants.
The organisation’s three main areas are:
- UK forum for working in partnership with regional water companies
- Technical forum for promoting aspects of innovation
- International forum for providing export support and global market assistance
Riventa MD, Steve Barrett, said: “We are in great company and delighted to become a member of British Water. Having already played a role in the organisation’s UK-based innovation events, we’ve increasingly worked alongside British Water internationally, too. Our new membership is a sign of our continued commitment to the water industry both in the UK and globally.
“As a member we look forward to benefiting from the many opportunities the organisation provides for its members,” added Steve Barrett.

Representing UK innovation at events world wide
Having recently formed part of a UK delegation at Oman’s Energy and Water Conference & Exposition, and Brazil’s World Water Forum, we will again travel alongside other companies and British Water to next month’s International Water Week in Singapore.
At the event in Singapore, we will be showcasing our optimisation solutions for water pumps, stations and networks. Alongside other British companies in the Department for Trade and Industry’s UK Pavilion, we will also help to enhance the standing of UK innovation overseas.
The UK delegation includes British Water, who will be hosting the UK Pavilion. Being alongside British Water at the event means we will benefit from the organisation’s extensive international knowledge and existing networks.
