Working with the water industry

Testing pumps, monitoring stations and optimising networks

We help water companies to meet demand at least cost, achieve significant reductions in energy and emissions, and boost performance. We also identify network investments to meet strategic targets and drive greater profit.

How we help water industry and companies

Our extensive range of services and highly-developed suite of technology was originally designed to support water industry. We now package our services and technology into solutions, designed to drive improvements at your water stations and across networks. Below is an overview of what we provide:

  • Our portable water pump testing system
  • Conventional and thermodynamic pump testing, all in one
  • Measures head, power, pump efficiency and flow rate in real- time
  • Suitable for both low and high head applications

What you get:

  • Your assets fully documented and pump/station information compiled in one place
  • Real-time pump performance, and operator guidance when pump monitoring
  • Consultancy, software integration and engineering support
  • A complete report with clear recommendations and an explanation of the potential return on your decisions

  • High-precision thermodynamic technology
  • For medium to large pumping stations with typical energy consumption of 400kW and above, and where is variable
  • Measures head, power, pump efficiency and flow rate in real- time
  • Suitable for higher head applications

FREEFLOW thermodynamic pump monitoring system >

  • Advanced pump flow technology
  • For small to medium-sized pumping stations with typical energy consumption of between 100kW and 400kW
  • Measures head, power, pump efficiency and flow rate (from a site installed flow-meter) in real- time
  • Suitable for both low and high head applications

ECOFLOW conventional pump monitoring system >

  • Advanced pump flow technology
  • Specialist wastewater system
  • For any weight of water pumping stations with typical energy consumption above 100kW
  • Measures head, power, pump efficiency and flow rate (from a site installed flow-meter) in real- time
  • Suitable for both low and high head applications

Through our engineers, or by working with your local partners, we can provide pump testing and pump monitoring services.

If we complete tests and monitoring work for you, this is also supported by:

Engineer support

Our engineers would carry out an in-situ pump tests and/or monitoring, characterising the current condition of the pumping assets without disruption to operations. Our engineers are extremely experienced and will carry out each test to the same high standard.
