Riventa hydraulic consultancy team expands to enrich its strong skillset

We recently welcomed mechanical engineer, Nicholas Brown, to our hydraulic consultancy team

As part of Riventa’s continued strategic growth in the UK and overseas, the company recently welcomed mechanical engineer, Nicholas Brown (pictured), to its hydraulic consultancy team.

Nick Brown, pump efficiency and hydraulic consultancy team, Riventa With exceptional knowledge of hydraulic equipment and a proven team player, Nick will help to maintain the consultancy team’s position as the largest provider of pump testing resources in the UK water industry. He will also support growth in Asia and expansion in North America.

Having served with the Corps of Royal Engineers, where he excelled in challenging environments, Nick brings a varied skillset which will add a rich layer of experience to an already strong team. He has worked across utilities and as part of infrastructure projects, and previously specialised in fuel storage and distribution. He joins Riventa with excellent operational knowledge of pipeline systems, water treatment plants, pumps and hydraulic equipment.

Nicholas Brown – some background:

  • Nick started working life in 2007 in the plant equipment industry as a hydraulic fitter, diagnosing and repairing faults on a multitude of hydraulic equipment.
  • In 2010 Nick specialised in bulk fuel storage and distribution equipment, water treatment processes and power generation equipment. This included the design, build, test and commission of temporary fuel installations in remote locations.
  • In 2014 he was integral to the Royal Engineers’ team drafted in to assess flood defences on the Somerset levels, working alongside the Environment Agency.

Nicholas Brown said: “I’m excited by this new challenge and really looking forward to working with Riventa clients and team members. There are many opportunities ahead. To deliver successful projects and continued growth for the company, I look forward to applying my specialist knowledge and services as part of such a dynamic and resilient business.”
